We a lovely relaxing Sunday lunch at Living Life in Ladybrand. When we got back we all drove up the hill behind Ficksburg to enjoy the sun and watch it set. There were amazing views over to Lesotho and the hills beyond!

We were really pleased that Mme Mamalapo was able to come along to the opening. And note the excellent poster that Anne and I spent our morning making!

I can hardly believe that we have been here for three weeks already and an amazing and very busy three weeks it has been! Today we went to the opening of a new craft gallery here in Ficksburg. The owner, Maria, is very keen to promote Lesotho crafts and has taken products from Lesotho Mountain Crafts so we wish her well and hope it becomes a good outlet for our artisans.

Guy, volunteer carpenter from Ireland (in the middle of the line) has spent all week mending the climbing frame - this included fitting new swings. Nt Manqoe (General Manager) had to try them out, for H&S reasons I'm sure! Looking on are - from left to right - Mphoko (accountant and driver), Maki (centre manager), Mme Futho (nurse), Guy, Thapelo (IT and maths tutor) and Clare (Director, Action Lesotho)
