Just spent a wonderful week on the beautiful west coast island of Colinsay. Taking part in the Spring festival and meeting lots of lovely folk, walking, taking photos?.....sad to be leaving today but hope to be back. The photo shows a view from our house.

We had a short but lovely exhibition of work by stained glass artist Anne Ferguson at the gallery up until Easter Sunday. Good news is that she has left some panels, cards and prints so do come and visit. We are open Wed, Thurs, Sat and Sun 10am - 5 pm

We are open for the season - Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 10am - 5pm. Currently showing my art and textile craft work. We'll be having small exhibitions of other artists from time to time and I'll post information here. Directions - Take A961 to St Margaret's Hope, turn left after turning to the village (at War Memorial) towards Eastside Beach. Gaallery is on left at top of first hill - parking available. Everybody most welcome.
Although I'm home, and getting used to the cold.....I thought I'd continue to put up some photos from our time in Lesotho. The road verges are covered in Cosmos just now and it is so lovely particularly in the evening light.

We spent some hours, here, spotting animals before heading to the airport. As well as giraffe we saw zebra, ostrich, rhino, warthog, baboon, antelope including distant springbok, monkeys - sorry I have forgotten types and also small, medium and large tortoise (seen as very good luck by Basotho!). It was a great treat and a great last morning - thanks Pippa and Dave.
