We are really keen to promote the development of informal art sessions for children so set up a table with paper, scissors, pens and crayons. It was a huge hit with the young...and not so young...and is to be a permanent feature of the shop. There will also be a cafe serving coffee, teas and biscuits to start with but eventually there will be home bakes too!!

Well here we all are, waiting for the opening of the showcase gallery at Hatooa Mose Mosali! It was a lovely day, there was a great turn out, including members from every business in Lesotho Mountain Crafts, a feast was prepared and there were very good sales. The team had worked really hard and everything was ready in good time! It was a wonderful last day for us!

When we arrived at the gallery yesterday we found the ladies painting designs onto the shed. Traditionally this is women's work and it was lovely to see pattern spreading over the walls. It is visible from the road so should help to attract people to come and visit.
