Rock and roll......!
I held my first workshop of this stay at Casa Rosina...working in black, white and grey scale and exploring mark making, texture, collage and mono-printing. I'm sure many of my past students will remember the 'black and white' project and this group certainly seemed to enjoy the day, producing some good work too...

So I've finally caught up with myself.......
Spent a couple of days working on Casa Rosina - Anne and I took off all the kitchen cabinet doors, washed, painted and rehung them. Cleaned out cupboards and Dick was doing other maintenance. We were boosted by cups of tea and nice lunches. The images are a bit grainy as they were taken on iPad!

A glorious sunset.....but a change in weather!
It rained that night and it's been unsettled since then....wind, rain, sun, cloud, wind..!

Cheers!
And Happy New Year - hope 2016 is good for you all!
We decided to pack a sandwich and drive into the national park, part of the Sierra Tadeja and on the side of La Maroma which at 2068.5m is a good bit higher than Ben Nevis. It's beautiful with great views down to the coast. We found cork trees and walked through juniper, lavender, thyme, rosemary and some very sticky bushes that we have yet to identify!
